Since his early days as resident DJ and in-house promoter for one of the West Coast's biggest production companies "Pureform Atmopsheres" to today in NYC where he's formed the promotions company "Propaganda" which has become a renowned source of cutting edge club events here in the city, Alex K. has always been at the forefront of promoting the culture of dance music in the United States. 

His DJ style skillfully blends House, Deep House, Tech-House and Techno into extended sets of flawless mixes and strong programming - Its a sound that's both futuristic and timeless - striking a balance between forward-thinking, percussive techno and tech-house to melodic, funky deep tech and beyond. 

 

A classically trained musician who was performing piano recitals at the age of 6, his early musical influences span a range of genres from progressive and classic rock to metal, grunge, disco, funk, soul, new wave, hip-hop, r & b, and beyond. Early DJ influences such as Sasha and Digweed, Danny Howells, Deep Dish, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia and Carl Cox helped shape his sound - but in recent years the new wave of innovation in techno and tech-house that has come to dominate global dance music have likewise taken center stage in his DJ sets and production work.
